Wyoming Outfitters & Guides Association

The Wyoming Outfitters & Guides Association (WOGA), a nonprofit dedicated to supporting outfitters and guides across the state, produces a directory each year for its members and the public. Like many nonprofits, WOGA operates on a tight budget and needed a way to offset rising production and mailing expenses without sacrificing quality.

WOGA was facing increasing costs in both printing and postage for their annual directory. With limited resources, they needed a partner who could not only deliver high-quality production but also provide strategies to reduce expenses and stretch their budget further.

Midstates Group worked closely with WOGA to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining the professional look and feel of their directory. Together, we implemented:

• Paper Optimization: Switching to a different paper selection, saving approximately $7,000 in production costs.
• Weight Reduction: Using a lighter paper stock, which reduced mailing weight and saved around $3,000 in postage.
• Postal Promotions: Assisting WOGA in leveraging USPS promotions, resulting in an additional $2,500 in postage savings.

Through these collaborative efforts, WOGA was able to achieve over $12,000 in combined savings while still receiving a high-quality product that exceeded their expectations. By optimizing materials and tapping into postal discounts, Midstates Group helped WOGA reinvest more of their budget back into their mission.
